Queens is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Queens follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Just WOW! First time trying Turkish food and it was amazing!!! One of my best meals, plus our waitress Gamzer was exceptional. We also met the owner Cliff and hands down to his hospitality and attention. Do yourself a favor and try this place out! We are definitely coming back.

Hereβs a polished 5-star review you could post: βββββ Safir Mediterranean is easily one of the best Mediterranean restaurants on Long Island! Everything we ordered was fresh, authentic, and packed with flavor. The lahmacun was perfectly crispy with a delicious, well-seasoned topping, and the fresh-baked bread came out hot, soft, and absolutely incredible. The quality of the ingredients really stands out, and every bite tasted homemade. The service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a great atmosphere for enjoying a meal with family or friends. If youβre looking for authentic Mediterranean food in Long Island, this place is a must-visit. Iβll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu. Highly recommended!

Safir was an amazing experience. The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. The grilled octopus is a must-have, and the lahmacun and mixed grill were outstanding. The bread and bread-based dishes were light, fresh, and delicious. The staff made the experience even betterβthey were warm, attentive, and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain the dishes and make great recommendations. We left satisfied without feeling overly full. I highly recommend Safir and will definitely be back.

Accidentally found this Turkish restaurant while walking around Long Island City and wow! We were lucky enough to be welcomed by the owner himself super warm, positive, and genuinely passionate about the place and the menu. The entire staff was amazing, and the food absolutely delivered. Huge portions, incredible meat, one of the best Turkish meals weβve had in NYC! They recommended their signature dish and were so glad we listened. Also loved that they offered us a sample of their signature drink before ordering Amazing service, amazing atmosphere, amazing food. Definitely coming back. Thank you π«ΆπΌ

This was my first time eating Turkish food and it did not disappoint. We started with the octopus which was heavenly. It was extremely soft and flavorful (forgot to take a photo). It is served in a skillet and the marinade is great for dipping bread into after. The rest of the food was also incredible with fresh herbs on every dish. I will definitely be back with a bigger group of people to try more! Service was great and they were very attentive. They didnβt rush us out when we finished the meal which made me feel like I was abroad.
